About You

You can work independently or with a team, prioritize your projects, and be effective without micromanagement.
Job Description
Element 84 is seeking a motivated business administration intern who is ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. This intern will work closely with the different functions of the operations team including human resources, office administration, information technology, marketing and corporate operations. Work will include assisting the team with new and on-going tasks that support the team and operations at Element 84.
Research business analysis
Travel program process updates
Company event planning
Advanced correspondence and general office support
Scheduling support for recruiting efforts
Accurately format documents and input data into specific databases
Efficiently run reports and manually review records to determine the success of the company’s marketing campaigns
Produce, distribute, and receive various Element 84 communications
Other administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned
Work hours will be 30-40 hours per week.

This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in business administration.
You'll care about writing. Our team is remote and written communication is essential. In addition to caring about a well-crafted email and a succinct conference abstract, you understand that good writing is good design and engineering.

Qualifications
Here are the guidelines we're looking at to gauge experience and skillset:
Recent graduate or rising senior student pursuing a BA or BS in Business Administration, Management, General Business, Human Resources, or other related business major
Ability to conduct independent work
Experience with Google Workspace
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate across teams to deliver quality projects with attention to detail
Possession of excellent time management, problem-solving and researching skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both remotely and in Element 84 offices located in Alexandria, VA (dependent on COVID restrictions being lifted)
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Applicants must be a US Person authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. At this time, Element 84 will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. A standard background check is required for this role.
