Job Description

As Ekovolt Accountant, you will be responsible for the following

  1. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, analyzing variances, and providing insights.
  3. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  4. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  5. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax-related activities.
  6. Implement and maintain effective internal controls for financial accuracy and security.
  7. Perform financial analysis, including profitability and cost analysis.
  8. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 2- 3 years working as a Chartered Accountant.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SageOne and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in the ISP or telecommunications industry (preferred but not required).
