We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures on various construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, precision, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards while adhering to all safety regulations and local building codes.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine materials, measurements, and construction methods
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools with precision and accuracy
• Install wooden structures, fixtures, and components including framing, doors, windows, cabinets, and trim work
• Perform finishing work such as sanding, staining, and varnishing to achieve desired aesthetic results
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, properly storing tools and materials
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, supervisors, and project managers to ensure timely project completion
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Adapt to project requirements and work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar carpentry role
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, nail guns, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishing methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Solid understanding of building codes and construction standards applicable in the UAE
• Excellent measurement and mathematical skills for precise calculations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work safely and follow all safety protocols and regulations
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and work at heights when required
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Preferred: Safety certifications (OSHA or equivalent) or relevant trade certifications
