JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with plans production and design tasks under the direction of an engineer for transportation projects
- 3D modeling from preliminary to final design.
- Assist in the development of specifications, reports, and cost estimates. Data sensitivity - Internal
- Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, departments, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Deliver project tasks on time and on budget.
- Learn and utilize typical design software packages.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering BS by spring of 2027.
- Design experience a plus.
- EIT or Engineering Intern certification or plans to obtain prior to graduation
- Experience in OpenRoads Designer a plus. Experience in Traffic Design is a plus.
- Familiarity with Synchro and Highway Capacity Software is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
