Step into a role where your ideas and curiosity genuinely matter. As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll contribute to real projects from your first week.

You’ll support software creation and project support for a range of clients from our Brisbane office. Join our dynamic and high-performing Rail Systems team for the 2027 Graduate intake!

Key responsibilities

  • Teamwork: you’ll work alongside a variety of specialists, learning how different disciplines come together to deliver successful projects. Building relationships with clients on projects and developing contacts within the industry.
  • Problem Solving: tackle real challenges, think creatively and help shape practical solutions that improve project performance outcomes. Apply diligent curiosity across a variety of analysis and modelling activities.
  • Quality Focus: learn how we meet industry standards and regulations while delivering work we’re proud of.
  • Client Focus: develop ongoing relationships with industry clients in both project and ongoing operational contexts
  • Support for Systems in Production: exposure to 24/7 railway operational systems, including opportunities to work overtime and on-call to support their ongoing operations

Qualifications

What do we need from you

  • Graduating prior to commencing full-time work in February 2027
  • Tertiary degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or any similar engineering degree
  • Available to start February 2027
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia. This position is not open to applicants outside of Australia

About you

  • Interest and enthusiasm to work within rail
  • Understanding of systems engineering
  • Detail orientated and analytical mindset, with adaptability and the ambition to pick up skills quickly
  • Previous vacation or internship experience within engineering consulting is highly regarded
  • Technical background and understanding of software engineering, including but not necessarily limited to: Coding, control systems, software development lifecycles, software design principles
  • Foundational understanding of operational technology and systems, such as: Networking, telecommunications, databases, systems administration
  • Exposure to AI first engineering techniques
