Job Description
Our team is growing. We need experienced Water Sensity Urban Design & Construction Quality Assurance Engineers with a minimum of 4 year’s experience to join our Brisbane based Flood, Stormwater and Waterway Management team.
About the Role
- Planning, development, and design for civil and multi-disciplinary projects including stormwater drainage systems, detention basins, bioretention systems, wetlands, stormwater harvesting ponds, open channels and waterways.
- Undertaking technical works for water quality and waterway civil infrastructure projects.
- Developing design documentation including design reports, technical specifications, drawings, BOQ’s and cost estimates.
- Balanced split between office and local site-based works.
Qualifications
About You
- A tertiary Engineering degree (essential).
- Good knowledge and application of Local Government standards and water by design standards.
- Knowledge and application of stormwater engineering, hydrological theory, Australian rainfall and runoff and water hydraulics.
- You are looking for a challenge and personal growth.
- You enjoy delivering practical solutions and not just reports.
- You enjoy flexibility, accountability and professionalism.
- You recognise the key attributes of an engineering professional and have invested in these for yourself – you can think laterally and can communicate well.
