The activity includes toll road operations, weighbridge facilities, One-Stop Border Posts (OSBP), asset maintenance, customer services, and supporting corporate functions operating across two jurisdictions.

Reports to the General Manager
- The Ethics, Compliance & Contractor Representative is responsible for ensuring that KMTR operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and corporate governance standards. The role oversees ethics and compliance programs while acting as the primary interface between the operating company and contractors, ensuring contractual performance, integrity, and adherence to concession requirements.
- This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the company's integrity, reputation, and contractual interests across the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia. The role supports the Executive Team by promoting a strong culture of ethics, transparency, and compliance while ensuring effective oversight of contractor performance.
- Develop and implement the company's ethics and compliance framework.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Promote a culture of integrity and ethical business conduct.
- Manage whistleblowing mechanisms and compliance investigations.
Contract Management
- Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations.
- Oversee contract performance and service delivery.
- Identify contractual risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate contract reviews and claims management.
Governance & Risk
- Support corporate governance processes and internal controls.
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits.
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting the concession.
- Report on compliance with risks and mitigation plans to Executive Management.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with contractors, legal advisors, regulators, and public authorities.
- Support negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced compliance professional with strong expertise in corporate governance, contract management, and regulatory compliance within complex infrastructure or industrial environments.
Education
Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, or a related field.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in compliance, legal, contract management, or corporate governance.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, mining, transport, or PPP projects.
- Experience in Central Africa, preferably in the DRC and/or Zambia.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration and regulatory compliance.
