Job Description

Training Coordinator

Make a Difference Through Learning & Development

Are you organised, people-focused, and passionate about helping others develop their skills? We’re looking for a Training Coordinator to play a key role in delivering and maintaining high-quality training across the Contract.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll work closely with managers, employees, and training providers to make sure our people have the right training, qualifications, and support to succeed. You’ll be at the heart of keeping training programmes running smoothly, maintaining high standards of compliance, and helping us build a culture of continuous learning.

What You’ll Be Doing

Training Coordination & Administration

  • Coordinate and administer a range of training programmes across the Contract, ensuring a smooth experience from booking through to completion.
  • Work closely with managers and department leaders to identify current and future training needs.
  • Organise and schedule training courses, workshops, inductions, refresher sessions, and other learning activities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external training providers to coordinate effective training delivery.
  • Ensure employees are enrolled onto the right courses and receive clear joining instructions and relevant information.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records and databases.
  • Monitor qualification and certification expiry dates and coordinate renewals to ensure employees remain compliant.
  • Produce insightful training reports, compliance dashboards, and management information.
  • Manage training bookings, purchase orders, invoices, and associated documentation.
  • Track attendance, completion rates, and training outcomes.
  • Create, maintain, review, and update job-specific training manuals, videos, and courses to reflect legislative, contractual, and client requirements.

Compliance & Quality

You’ll help ensure our training provision meets the highest standards by:

  • Supporting compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual, client, and organisational training requirements.
  • Maintaining and auditing mandatory training records.
  • Monitoring training compliance and proactively highlighting and escalating any areas of concern.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by ensuring training information is accurate, accessible, and up to date.

Working With Our People

This role is all about building positive relationships. You’ll:

  • Develop trusted relationships with managers, employees, and training providers.
  • Provide helpful advice and guidance on training policies, processes, and requirements.
  • Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives across the Contract.
  • Encourage and promote a culture where continuous learning, development, and professional growth are valued.

Improving How We Learn

We’re always looking for ways to make our training better, simpler, and more effective. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of training systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • Gather feedback from employees, delegates, and training providers to understand what works well and where we can improve.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance training delivery, engagement, and administration.
  • Contribute ideas that help us deliver an even better learning experience for our people.

Why This Role?

This is more than an administration role. You’ll have a direct impact on how our people learn, develop, and stay compliant, while working with a wide range of stakeholders across the Contract.

If you’re someone who enjoys bringing organisation and structure to a busy environment, building relationships, solving problems, and helping people develop, this could be a great opportunity to make your mark.
