Job Description
Act as technical advisor for Utilities & SWRO scope during developer bid review and RFP/specification preparation. Lead technical due diligence, verify compliance with project/off-taker requirements, identify risks and deviations, prepare clarifications, support technical evaluation, and contribute to contract schedules and negotiation support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Professional registration, chartership, or OEM/utility/off-taker experience is preferred
Additional Information
Required Experience
- 10+ years in power/water utilities, SWRO desalination, industrial water treatment, owner’s engineer or EPC review role
Technical Expertise
- SWRO process; seawater intake/outfall; pretreatment; UF/RO; remineralization; demin water; potable/service/fire water; cooling water; wastewater; chemical dosing; utility consumption; environmental discharge. WHO/GCC potable water guidelines as applicable, RO membrane vendor standards, environmental discharge permits, NFPA for fire water, API/ASME where applicable
Commercial/Contract Awareness
- Ability to read and comment on IPP/PPA/EPC technical schedules, guarantees, LD-linked performance clauses, interface obligations, acceptance testing requirements, and developer deviations
