Job Description
Act as technical advisor for CCGT lead engineering / plant configuration scope during developer bid review and RFP/specification preparation. Lead technical due diligence, verify compliance with project/off-taker requirements, identify risks and deviations, prepare clarifications, support technical evaluation, and contribute to contract schedules and negotiation support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Professional registration, chartership, or OEM/utility/off-taker experience is highly preferred
Additional Information
Required Experience
- 15+ years in CCGT/IPPs, OEM/EPC/owner’s engineer background preferred
- Experience in bid evaluation and technical advisory for utility-scale power plants
Technical Expertise
- Understanding of CCGT thermodynamic cycle; GT/ST/HRSG integration; simple-cycle vs combined-cycle configuration; duct firing; supplementary firing; cooling system impact; emissions; OEM GT/ST technology; plant dispatch flexibility. ASME PTC 22, ASME PTC 46, ISO 2314, IEC/IEEE as applicable, OEM datasheets, heat balance diagrams, P&IDs, GA drawings, Grid Code requirements
Commercial/Contract Awareness
- Ability to read and comment on IPP/PPA/EPC technical schedules, guarantees, LD-linked performance clauses, interface obligations, acceptance testing requirements, and developer deviations
