Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Architectural Inspector to join our site supersvision in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of architectural and structural elements to ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code and relevant construction standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across all construction projects.
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of buildings and construction projects to verify compliance with Saudi Building Code and architectural specifications
- Analyze architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation to assess adherence to approved designs and standards
- Evaluate building materials, construction methodologies, and structural integrity to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Document inspection findings, observations, and non-conformances in detailed reports using standardized formats
- Identify code violations, safety hazards, and areas of non-compliance, and communicate findings to project stakeholders and management
- Verify that construction practices align with approved permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to address inspection findings and facilitate corrective actions
- Maintain organized records of all inspections, reports, and correspondence for regulatory and project documentation purposes
- Stay current with updates to Saudi Arabian building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide professional recommendations for remediation and improvements based on inspection assessments
Qualifications
- Saudi National
- Proven experience as an Architectural Inspector or similar inspection role in the construction and consultancy industry
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Building Code and local construction standards and regulations
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and structural integrity assessment
- Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and data organization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex architectural and structural elements
- Proficiency with CAD software and digital inspection tools
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building materials, and construction methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection assignments simultaneously
- Familiarity with inspection management systems and digital documentation platforms (preferred)
- Knowledge of international building standards and best practices (preferred)
- Project management experience in construction or related fields (preferred)
