Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Engineer – Facades to join our Auckland team. This is a key position within our NZ Facades and wider Structural team, with the opportunity to play a critical role in shaping our projects and contributing to the growth of the business.
You will bring CPEng status and be registered with Auckland City Council, enabling you to sign off high-risk producer statements. Beyond technical capability, we are looking for someone ambitious and growth-oriented – someone who is excited to help develop our NZ presence while leveraging the global expertise and resources of Inhabit and the wider Egis Group.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, challenging projects, lead technically, and mentor others while making a tangible impact on New Zealand’s built environment.
Qualifications
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
Registered on the Auckland City Council Producer Statement Author Register (able to sign off high-risk producer statements).
Strong technical background in facade engineering and structural design.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical outputs and provide project leadership.
Ambition to grow professionally and contribute to the expansion of Inhabit in NZ.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to leverage global expertise while leading locally.
