Job Description
As a Water Resource Engineer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a well-established team and you will have the opportunity to grow and mentor a high-performing team of talented and skilled engineering professionals. You will use your management skills to plan and organize the team’s efforts and take responsibility for cost control, staffing, and quality. Your demonstrated professionalism will come into play as you cultivate and nurture client relationships and build the EGIS USA brand by participating in state and regional associations. Use your strength as a communicator to assist with proposals and direct marketing efforts.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within a fast-paced team environment to develop and design water resource projects for clients.
- Proficiency in water resource design and hydraulic modelling as well as the ability to learn and develop technical skills for unique and advanced design requirements on projects.
- Develop and review plans and computations to ensure quality, compliance and accuracy of the design work and construction plans.
- Provide efficient design to ensure profitability and client schedules are being met.
- Develop time-saving design resources to be utilized by other engineers within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 8-12 years of experience in water resource design
- PE (IN) or ability to obtain within 4 months
- Familiar with drinking water modelling, water distribution systems, storm water collection and plant facility designing
- Proficient in preliminary engineering reports
- Good knowledge in funding sources and those requirements
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
