Educanta is recruiting a graduate in Boden / Luleå (Sweden) for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) role in the construction industry. This position is a fixed-term contract, from May to October (6 months), with a possibility of extension.

Job Description
Educanta is looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor consultant to support one of our industrial clients on their journey towards more efficient operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to apply their analytical and problem-solving skills in a hands-on, international, exciting project.
You will help build Sweden's first fossil-free steel plant. In this role, you’ll work on-site with the client’s team to help monitor costs, identify savings, and support the implementation of tools such as Power Automate, MS Excel, and more. You’ll contribute to better cost control by being proactive in analysing contracts, invoices and reports — with support and guidance from Educanta when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse contracts, invoices and reports to validate quantities delivered.
- Monitor expenses, identify savings, report on project progress.
- Support the implementation of new tools to monitor and improve processes (e.g., SharePoint, Excel).
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and partner companies to ensure alignment and smooth project progress.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering, construction engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience in the construction industry, or in a quantity surveyor position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in analytical tools.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working closely with different stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks and learn new tools.
- Proficiency in English2, understanding French is a big advantage.
Additional Information
- Contract: Fixed-term (6 months) with possibility of extension.
- Location: On-site in Luleå, Sweden. Possibility to work remotely for 2 weeks every 6 weeks.
- Start: May 2026.
- You will work primarily with the client’s local team, with support from Educanta when needed.
