Job Description

Educanta is looking for a sustainability enthusiast familiar with product packaging and/or database development. The main purpose of this position is to gather data from different sources and populate a components database detailing what the products are made of. Even though the main task is to populate the database, its structure can also be improved and automation opportunities to extract data from different sources could be explored. Also, other operational tasks will arise from working daily with the Sustainability team, we face new challenges every day!

This project is tailored for a full-time position for 3 months, and will start as soon as possible.

The main tasks of this project include but are not limited to:

  • Identifying and contacting relevant people internally and externally (suppliers, warehouses) to gather information
  • Perform quality checks on the data received before populating the main database
  • Benchmarking other systems to improve the structure of the database and the software used
  • Automate the data gathering from text documents
  • Prioritizing tasks to gather as much data as possible during the project

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field (sustainability, chemical engineering, packaging engineering, ...)
  • Knowledge about product packaging components
  • Knowledge about chemical composition of products, especially cream-based products
  • Sustainability-focused
  • Analytical skills to check and challenge the data received
  • Familiar with simple database structure
  • Microsoft office package with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience on Power Automate, UiPath or similar tools 
  • Excellent communication and relational skills to get in touch with the many people involved
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of Swedish is appreciated
