Job Description

Our client is looking for a team player with people and problem-solving skills combined with a
commercial mind-set to contribute to their rapid expansion journey in becoming a European
market leader in everyday healthcare. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the Sourcing function within the Operations team in managing both day-to-day tasks as well supporting strategy development and undertaking projects to execute on the strategy. In this international role as Sourcing Analyst / Coordinator, you will support our client’s supply
strategies for our direct material suppliers. You will become a member of the Sourcing & Supplier Management team within Operations and report to the Head of Sourcing & Supplier
Management. 

Tasks are including, but not limited to:

  • Build processes and run data/business analysis related to sourcing, new product development and supply chain, including building KPI reports & dashboards to understand and continuously improve sourcing & new product development processes performance
  • Support and execute on our client’s supply strategy through projects within tech transfer, full-service implementation, and consolidation of supplier base
  • Monitor, track and keep stakeholders informed of changes in serialization landscape for prescribed pharmaceuticals.
  • Understand and be updated on the clients’s direct material supplier base
    relating to spend, capacity and capabilities
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Regulatory and Quality to monitor and develop
    supplier performance.
  • Support the setup and onboarding of new direct material suppliers
  • Perform data entry and administration in relevant systems, such as TraceLink and IFS
  • Analyse cost breakdowns provided by suppliers and identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Manage, track, and follow up on sourcing initiatives such as value engineering and development projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, present information and build relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with an international supplier base

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management (Student or recently graduated)
  • Excellent English skills
  • Good knowledge within operations, procurement/sourcing and supply chain management
  • Great communication & interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Office Package with advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge in SQL & Python

Extra awesome if you have:

  • Supply Chain experience in an international multi stakeholder environment
    within supply chain or sourcing
  • Work experience from FMCG, pharma or the cosmetics industry
  • Knowledge in Power Query and Power BI
