One of our clients based in Stockholm within the consumer goods/pharmaceutical industry is recruiting a Supply Chain Specialist interested in having a permanent contract in Stockholm, Sweden.

Job Description

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for the correct replenishment of products into Karo Pharma’s various warehouses, ensuring on time deliveries, keeping health inventory levels and optimising costs.  

The Supply Chain Planner have close dialogue with many internal functions such as finance, quality, sales, and marketing. External communication is held with external manufacturers, freight forwarders and Logistic party providers (3PL).

The purpose of the role and the responsibilities are described below:

  • To ensure product availability to meet market demand with correct inventory levels at lowest possible cost,
  • Communication towards suppliers and 3PL to ensure correct and on time deliveries and correct supply levels according to company KPI
  • Responsible to analyse and send supplier forecast on monthly basis, including Purchase Orders, and management. (Inbound, Invoicing)
  • Drive improvements and support to implement common processes and more efficient ways of working. This relates to systems, processes, master data handling, communication internal / external etc
  • Inventory management, take actions to keep healthy inventory levels, following up on stock levels on a monthly basis
  • Master Data Management
  • Phase in / Phase out of new SKU
  • Scrapping and excess stock management
  • Participate in S&OP processes
  • Continuous reporting of out of stock situations or other risks related to supply
  • Handle transportation and inbound to 3PL
  • Phase in of new Artwork
  • Various Reporting such as Out Of Stock; Excess Stock, NPD follow up
  • Documentation management 

Qualifications

Skills

  • Flexile / adaptable with an action oriented and proactive mindset

  • Analytical minded

  • Advanced user of Excel

  • Ability to work independently and proactively to drive improvement and development

  • Can do attitude that cope well under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent in Swedish and English both spoken and written

Qualifications & Experience

  • Preferably an academic degree or the equivalent in Supply Chain / Operations / Logistics / Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience in working with supply planning in a complex environment, pharmaceutical and / or equally to FMCG with multiple sourcing sites and countries
  • Experience from working with common IT tools (Microsoft Office) and ERP systems and planning tools.
