As an experienced UI/UX designer, you’re all about harmony in design – it just runs in your DNA. You view the world as your canvas upon which to express your creativity, yet you’re also very disciplined to always deliver for your clients to help solve their pressing needs. You can spend hours debating color theory, and you’re very OCD about alignment, spelling, and graphic perfection. You take pride in coming up with the most elegant, clean, and user-intuitive solution. As a self-directed producer who is super-fast with your work, you can crank out many iterations of mockups, wireframes, and interaction flows, all while flying around Adobe Creative Suite like it’s your own home. We aim to create minimalistic, intuitive, delightful interactions for working with AI driven data and we need your help!

Responsibilities:

• Generate iterations of mockups, wireframes, and visuals that are evaluated, debated and utilized by cross-functional teams for decision making and software development
• Design user experiences for software applications through the creation of user interfaces, information architectures, interaction flows, and design patterns
• Communicate visions through storyboards, prototypes, demos, use cases, personas, site maps, flow diagrams, and other formats or tools
• Create solutions by working collaboratively with cross-functional teammates to solve problems in product development, marketing, usability, workflow, client management and other business priorities
• Manage design and UI/UX requests for multiple projects, products, and stakeholders through effective task management focused on deliverables, quality, and timeliness
• Address AI and big data issues as they may arise.

• BA/BS or MA/MS in graphics design, human factors, human-computer interaction, industrial design, or related field (or comparable experience in software graphics or UI/UX design)
• 2+ years of professional experience in graphics or UI/UX design for software applications
• Passion for creativity and relentless pursuit of perfection
• Track record of rolling up your sleeves and making magic happen as an army of one
• Deep expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and a variety of design tools for designing, prototyping, and wireframing (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Balsamiq, InVision, and others)
• Proficiency in software development including basic front end understanding of (X)HTML and CSS, Agile development, and tools such as JIRA
• Experience working in high pressure technical projects in a large scale Agile delivery environment
• Passion and desire to produce industry-leading designs and user experiences shaped by genuine interest in industry trends and best practices
• Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to clearly communicate with both business and technical audiences
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
