Job Description

As a customer retention specialist you will be resolving current and prospective customer concerns while focusing on retention. The environment is similar to a call center and you will be making inbound and outbound efforts to provide excellent customer service. Someone who has a confident and direct personality will excel in this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Responsibilities

  • Retain customers by resolving concerns
  • Respond to customer inquiries with clarity and knowledge of EDGE products and services.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills as you interact with customers.
  • Re-sign current customers by extending their service agreements (commission given based on length or resign, annual contract value and type of service)
  • Satisfy the specific needs of customers with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

 

  • Phone experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer/typing skills
  • Effective and passionate team player
  • Must be willing to work long-term
  • Pest control knowledge/experience is a plus
  • Sales experience is a plus
