Job Description

About the position:

You are a community builder deep inside and you thrive in fast-paced startup environment. You have a significant experience in growing and fostering online communities and social media management. You are passionate about connecting people in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities:

  • Source our future top hosts by using scouting sites and social media
  • Review and onboarding of new host applications
  • Creating educational content for hosts to help them grow in our community and get to the next level
  • Organise community meet ups on a quarterly basis
  • Attend new and older experiences on a monthly basis 
  • Write and optimise hosts content: Descriptions for experiences, presentations for partners.
  • Identifying and selecting hosts for our various strategic partners
  • Working with corporate team to create purposeful products for our host community  
  • Occasional trips across UK & Ireland to meet, onboard and train hosts


MARKETING Responsibilities:

  • SoMe page management 
  • Post on social media and engage with relevant online communities on a daily basis to increase following and brand awareness
  • Create and send out newsletters on a weekly basis
  • Contribute to global marketing campaigns
  • Strong English copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp tool, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Build SoMe campaigns on the @eatwithlondon page 

Qualifications

Requirements

  • University degree (minimum of 2:1) 
  • At least 1-year experience managing online communities
  • Previous experience in events/hospitality/travel industry
  • Familiarity with London food scene
  • Excellent communication skills - Both verbal and written
  • Aptitude for fostering positive relationships
  • A team player at heart
  • Strong organisation skills 
  • Strong personable skills 
  • Confident outgoing personality 
  • Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritising and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
