Job Description

EatWith is looking for a Community Associate, reporting to the U.S Community Manager.

The ideal applicant has a passion for growing and fostering online communities and connecting people in a meaningful way. This individual would thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented startup environment and has a flair for creative thinking.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process Host applications
  • Conduct phone, Skype and/or in-person calls with hosts and host applicants
  • Assist in managing communication with host
  • Organize host Meetups
  • Lead efforts on onboarding kit messaging
  • Working with US team and, when applicable, the global team to create purposeful products for our host community
  • Work to increase booking validation rated   
*Please note, this position is stationed in New York but will focus on recruitment across the East Coast and will require extensive traveling.   

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years managing online communities, account management or customer success
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication skills -both written and verbal
  • Aptitude for fostering positive relationships
  • Teamwork and leadership skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • BS degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Strong understanding of how to drive product adoption and client retention
