Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Travel industry sales professional to join a fast growing and global leader in local dining experiences. The US Sales Manager for Eatwith is responsible for maximizing the sales potential by cultivating strong relationships with existing partners, identifying new partner prospects and develop successful partner sales channels within the US. The US Sales Manager will strive for the successful execution of the annual sales plan en achievement of revenue objectives. The position requires an entrepreneurial self-starter attitude and passion for the Tours & Activity category within the travel industry. 

 

Responsibilities 

1. Execute an integrated strategy to significantly grow Eatwith travel agent sales, which includes identifying top potential travel agents while building awareness, knowledge, engagement and enthusiasm among key travel advisors

2.Develop and implement an annual sales plan for key accounts using a customized approach to address the specific needs of each reseller

3. Manage the creation and maintenance of Eatwith's educational and marketing materials and tool kits for the travel advisor community. Educate the stakeholders within the sales network.

4. Strengthen relationships and achieve growth with key preferred accounts through regular contact and informative updates with respect to their productivity and progress; offer assistance when appropriate to assist in achieving of their goals.  

5.Manage aggressive sales goals and track key monthly metrics

6. Ensure that all weekly sales reports are accurate, detailed, and submitted within the desired timeframe.

7. Stay abreast of competitor information in designated territory and stay updated on trends within the industry. Provide feedback to management team and fellow Sales Managers with respect to trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of sales or business development experience within the travel industry

  • A passion for food, travel and meeting new people 

  • 3-5 year Travel Industry experiences as an Account Manager, BDM or Travel Agent

  • Familiarity working with the Virtuoso travel network and advisor community highly desired

  • Ability to conduct presentations and training to a large audience effectively

  • A strong network within the travel industry and/or Travel Agent networks 

  • Passion for introducing new and unique travel experiences to Travel Agents  

  • Excellent Commercial skills 

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter attitude

  • Ambitious, hard-working and with a flair for sales
