Job Description
EatWith is looking for a Manager of Business Travel Sales reporting to the VP of Business Development.
The ideal applicant has extensive experience in business development and implementation within the travel agent industry and is able to aggressively generating new relationships and further cultivating existing partnerships to ensure business growth. Sales outreach will be a key activity. Position requires strong leadership, organization and communication skills. They have an entrepreneurial self-starter attitude and a real passion for new travel experiences.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of sales or business development experience within the travel industry
2. Familiarity working with the Virtuoso travel network and advisor community highly desired
3. Ability to conduct presentations and training to a large audience effectively
4. Passion for introducing new and unique travel experiences to Travel Agents
5. Ambitious, hard-working and with a flair for sales
6. Problem-solving attitude
7. A team player with leadership skills
8. Familiarity working with the Virtuoso travel network and advisor community highly desired
Additional Information
Responsibilities:
1. Execute an integrated strategy to significantly grow Eatwith travel agent sales, which includes identifying top potential travel agents while building awareness, knowledge, engagement and enthusiasm among key travel advisors
2. Ensure that travel agents are properly trained and knowledgeable about Eatwith events
3. Manage the creation and maintenance of Eatwith educational and marketing materials and tool kits for the travel advisor community, including Virtuoso marketing material
2. Develop professional and trusted relationships with existing and new clients.
3. Assists with the development and implementation of new partnerships
4. Liaison between the community team and travel partners
5. Manage aggressive sales goals and track key monthly metrics
6. Provides information to marketing to understand the users and needs of the travel gernt community and assist in the creation of effective campaigns
