Job Description
Project Manager of Real Estate plays a lead role in delivering on Eataly’s North America growth plans. The Project Manager of Real Estate is responsible for managing various components of the early new store delivery process with an emphasis on project initiation, due diligence, and lease negotiation. The Project Manager is a critical collaborator with the North American teams in the Real Estate pipeline process. The Project Manager is responsible for LOI and Lease coordination alongside the Design & Construction and Operations teams and acts as the day-to-day point of contact for real estate brokers, developers, and landlords for any Real Estate-related activities. This role requires expertise in hospitality and retail development and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
The Project Manager of Real Estate will collaborate closely with executive leadership, Design & Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal, and external partners to ensure projects align with business goals and brand standards while driving speed to market and efficiency.
Reports to the Vice President of Real Estate, Eataly North America.
In collaboration with the Vice President of Real Estate, regularly updates the Eataly Executive Team on Real Estate Development Strategy and ongoing projects,
Support site selection efforts by compiling and analyzing real estate data, market conditions, and brand requirements from Brokers and other sources.
Main point of contact and subject matter expert in Buxton to analyze data for potential markets, and Leasecake for lease management software.
Maintains all document flow and version control of Letters of Intent, P&L documents as well as all deal documents
Supports and collaborates with the Head of Real Estate and Legal Analyst in deal negotiation, from rent analysis, to review and execution of letter of intent (LOI) to lease agreement and subsequent amendments
Organizes and standardizes materials to make processes more efficient. Create cadence for Real Estate Committee, Board approvals and to develop speed to market sequencing
Create compelling presentations for the assessment of prospective markets – for internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with the Finance team to provide necessary real estate and development data for financial modeling and decision-making. Support the development of preliminary pro-forma P&Ls and budget tracking by ensuring all relevant project details are shared with Finance & Construction Team for CapEx.
Qualifications
Exceptional project management and time-management skills
Ability to review legal language pertaining to real estate transactions
Background experience in Design & Construction or Commercial Real Estate preferred
Bilingual Italian and English preferred
Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Previous experience in managing complex projects
Experience with store or restaurant rollouts and understanding of operations
Strong finance skills and proven success in financial analysis
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The annual compensation for this role ranges from $90,000-$110,000
