Job Description

The Head, Maintenance is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the maintenance strategy across all EatNGo production facilities and outlets. The role ensures optimal performance, safety, reliability, and compliance of all equipment, utilities, and facilities while minimizing downtime, controlling costs, and supporting business growth in a high-volume FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the maintenance strategy across all EatNGo facilities and outlets
  • Ensure high equipment uptime and minimal unplanned downtime in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of production, kitchen, refrigeration, and utility equipment
  • Manage and develop multi-site maintenance teams, driving performance and accountability
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and HSE teams to support uninterrupted operations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to reduce equipment failures
  • Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization
  • Oversee asset management, maintenance records, and use of CMMS systems
  • Manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Support audits, equipment upgrades, and new site commissioning
  • Track and report maintenance KPIs including uptime, downtime, and maintenance costs

Qualifications

  • 10  years hands-on maintenance/engineering experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, QSR, or hospitality operations
  • At least 4–5 years in a senior maintenance leadership role managing teams across multiple sites
  • Proven experience ensuring effective operation and maintenance of utility equipment in a high-volume FMCG environment
  • Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance systems
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost control, and vendor management
  • Track record of driving equipment uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • High attention to detail with a strong safety and compliance mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure FMCG environment.
