  • Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.
  • Scheduling shifts of team members
  • Overseeing restaurant staff performance, ensuring quality dining
  • Resolving customers' questions and grievances in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
  • Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support & Leadership:
    • Assist the Store General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
    • Lead and motivate team members by providing clear instructions, delegating tasks effectively, and offering constructive feedback for performance improvement.
    • Ensure adherence to EAT ‘N’GO's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
    • Develop and implement effective schedules to ensure adequate staffing for peak and off-peak hours (may include some shift management responsibilities).
  • Customer Focus:
    • Champion exceptional customer service by working with the team to deliver a positive and memorable dining experience.
    • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Financial & Inventory Management:
    • Assist the Store General Manager with managing restaurant budgets and controlling costs.
    • Monitor inventory levels and participate in ordering procedures to maintain optimal stock.
    • Contribute to the preparation of accurate financial reports.
  • Training & Development:
    • Play a role in training and onboarding new staff members.
    • Assist with coaching and development of existing team members.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
    • Conduct regular hygiene and safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, with some experience in leadership role.
  • HND or B.Sc. degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
  • A passion for the food service industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a shift job, weekends, and holidays.
