EAT ‘N’GO Limited is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Store General Manager to lead a dynamic team at one of our exciting locations. As the Store General Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our restaurant runs smoothly and exceeds customer expectations. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, from staff leadership and customer satisfaction to developing business plans and maintaining inventory.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure a seamless customer experience, focusing on both front-of-house (greeting, ordering, dining) and back-of-house activities.
    • Supervise and lead staff by providing clear instructions, delegating tasks effectively, and offering constructive feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
    • Develop and implement effective schedules to ensure adequate staffing for peak and off-peak hours.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for employee growth and development.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and motivation.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service by upholding EAT ‘N’GO's high standards for quality, accuracy, and speed.
    • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Business & Financial Management:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans that align with EAT ‘N’GO's overall goals and objectives.
    • Manage restaurant budgets effectively, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
    • Monitor inventory levels (food costs) and oversee ordering procedures to maintain optimal stock.
    • Analyze sales reports and identify areas for growth and improvement.
    • Prepare and submit accurate financial reports on a timely basis.
  • Marketing & Sales:
    • Implement local store marketing (LSM) initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness within the community.
    • Develop relationships with local businesses and organizations to explore promotional opportunities.
    • Monitor competitor activity and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Safety & Sanitation:
    • Enforce all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment.
    • Conduct regular hygiene and safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Train staff on proper food handling procedures and safety protocols.

 

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Hotel and Catering, Food Sciences or any related discipline.
    • 5-10 years' experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff and customers.
    • Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and achieve financial targets.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
    • A passion for the food service industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Must be able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays
