Job Description
·Documentation and maintaining the QHSE & Food Safety standards in accordance with the manuals.
Monitoring the implementation of the QHSE & Food Safety Manuals in liaison with other departments and executive management.
Develop and ensure full compliance to the Food Safety and Occupational, Health, Safety and Environment Management Philosophy, Objectives and Policies within the company.
Responsible for the development, review, and implementation of the Food Safety & Quality Management System policies, procedures, plans, and work instructions and will oversee that the company Quality Management System supports the company’s goals and objectives.
Responsible for assessing the compliance of QMS documentation with the ISO 9001:2015.
ISO 22000:2018 International Standard, statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements as well as have responsibility for the scheduling, planning, executing, and documentation of internal audits to ensure QMS and regulatory compliance.
Ability to develop, establish and maintain food safety and quality programs, policies, processes, procedures, and controls to ensure that performance and quality of services conform to established company, international (ISO), and governmental regulatory standards and agency guidelines.
Implement an Integrated Management System for Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Develop and maintain document control processes for the efficient management and recording of QHSE documentations
Qualifications
- HND/B.Sc. in Engineering, Food Science Tech or Environmental Sciences
- At least 5 years working with international QHSE standards, codes and practices including Nigerian QHSE experience
- Membership of relevant QHSE professional bodies
- Minimum of 3 years industrial catering experience.
- HACCP Level 3 qualification or other food handling / safety qualifications.
- Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
