Our Centers feature safe and caring environments, state-of-the-art tools and programs, individualized learning plans, highly qualified teachers and are inclusive of children with or without disabilities. We emphasize active parent partnerships.

We have opportunities available for Early Childhood Educator-Home Visitors to plan, implement and evaluate a developmental curriculum for infant, toddlers, pregnant women and their families. You will also act as service coordinator/primary caregiver for assigned children.

Pays $14.25/hour

Infant/toddler experience needed

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  •  Associate Teacher permit or 12 units of early childhood education/child development.
  • Experience teaching in a preschool and infant/toddler classroom setting.
  • Training and experience necessary to develop consistent, stable and supportive relationships with very young children and knowledge of infant and toddler development, safety issues in infant and toddler child care settings.
  • Ability to properly interpret and implement regulations, policies and procedures of the California Department of Education, Funding Terms and Conditions (Title 5), Child Development Division, the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing program regulations (Title 22), Easterseals Southern California and Early Head Start/Head Start Performance Standards (Title 5, 17 and 22).
