Job Description

The Director leads the development of client deliverables within a syndicated service. Directors are responsible for the entire process for syndicated deliverables within their service including developing research agendas, managing deliverable projects, authoring the reports, and presenting to clients. This position has sales, client management, and service development responsibilities.

Our Directors are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of the entire project team. These results are achieved by:

  • Incorporating defined content into assigned deliverables that align with client needs and goals.
  • Managing projects and people in matrix-based project teams for assigned product deliverables.
  • Writing portions of strategic and future-oriented deliverables that exceed client expectations.
  • Ensuring that assigned deliverables are completed on time with a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Engaging directly with clients to deliver content, provide recommendations and consulting support
  • Working with research Operations team members and adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Establishing and maintaining one or more areas of expertise in health care market access, pharmaceutical sales, policy or other areas as required to meet client objectives
  • Supporting the client delight team to develop targeting, respond to client inquiries, and support sales and service requirements.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • B.S./B.A in relevant field of study required.
  • Seven plus years of pharmaceutical, medical/health industry-related market research and consulting experience required.
  • Knowledge of federal policy related to the reimbursement and delivery of health care.
  • Deep understanding of payer and PBM business strategies.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead successful work teams.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness and accountability.
  • Strong conceptual, analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project and people management skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility in front of service clients at companies.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical business practices and the issues clients face in specific segments of responsibility
  • Working knowledge of the market research development process.
  • Quantitative and qualitative market research skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to utilize large amounts of data and other types of information from multiple sources to complete a final analysis of a business question/situations and make recommendations.
  • Must have ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, MPH).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical market access strategies and challenges among large payers including the leading health plans, PBMs, and Government programs.
  • Seven plus years of internal or external business/project development experience.
  • Seven plus years of pharmaceutical consulting and content presenting experience.
  • Seven plus years of experience successfully coaching and developing others skills and abilities.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $172,000 to $202,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
