Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SQL Server Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing OLTP enterprise data models for pharmaceutical applications. This is not a Data Engineering or Reporting role.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Product and Business teams to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable data models, and collaborate with engineering teams to design robust application architectures.

In addition to strong data modeling expertise, the candidate should have hands-on experience building AI-powered enterprise solutions using RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agents. Pharmaceutical domain experience is mandatory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise OLTP applications.
  • Create scalable SQL Server database architectures that support complex business workflows.
  • Partner with engineering teams to translate data models into application design.
  • Design data models for pharmaceutical pricing, market access, contracts, tenders, reference pricing, and related commercial processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, normalization, performance, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise applications.
  • Build AI-enabled enterprise solutions using:
    • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
    • Prompt Engineering
    • AI Agents
    • Enterprise knowledge assistants
  • Integrate LLMs with enterprise applications and structured SQL Server data.
  • Design secure and scalable AI solutions that improve business productivity and decision-making.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in SQL Server Data Modeling.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise OLTP applications from business requirements.
  • Experience working directly with Product Owners and Business stakeholders.
  • Strong database architecture and application design skills.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered enterprise solutions using RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agents.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.
