Job Description

THE POSITION:

The Vice President, Reporting & Analytics, Patient Services is a key member of EVERSANA’s Patient Services Reporting & Analytics leadership team, responsible for leading the strategy, development, and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions that drive value for clients, patients, and the organization. This leader advances data-driven offerings, supports business development efforts, and collaborates across teams to deliver actionable insights, scalable solutions, and measurable outcomes for BioPharma clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for developing reporting, analytics, and insights solutions for EVERSANA’s Patient Services clients, delivering measurable performance and value against established SLAs and KPIs.
  • Lead a team of analysts, both onsite and offshore, in the development and delivery of actionable reporting, analytics, and insights. Responsible for conducting data deep dives and root cause analyses to identify and help resolve access, affordability, and adherence challenges throughout the patient access journey.
  • Support clients and business partners through operational excellence, strategic thinking, effective decision-making, and organized project prioritization and execution. Provide a clear strategic vision and roadmap for delivering innovative, actionable analytics solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner, consulting within a matrixed environment and collaborating with Patient Services leaders across Client Services, Operations, Product, Innovation, Data, and IT to drive timely, accurate, and comprehensive solutions and outcomes.
  • Contribute to a portfolio of clients and projects, providing strategic input and expertise in driving data services strategy and execution.
  • Support business development efforts and maintain the health of existing client accounts through active participation in the development and review of pitches, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Serve as the Reporting and Analytics lead for Patient Services pitches, proposals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable best practices, processes, and product offerings for the Patient Services Analytics team and cross-functional partners.
  • Promote understanding of how Reporting and Analytics support broader program objectives and drive client ROI by partnering closely with Patient Services stakeholders to ensure solutions meet the needs of clients, partners, and patients.
  • Develop and deliver effective, persuasive presentations that demonstrate the value of Reporting and Analytics offerings to client teams, business development leaders, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations, solutions, and offerings that support business growth and P&L objectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure applications and solutions meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with technical resources to identify and document technical requirements, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Writing acceptance criteria and collaborating with QA team to ensure test plans address all requirements.
  • Creating user experience deliverables including wireframes and navigation flows.

  • Establish clear direction and strategic priorities for the team, ensuring effective project and program management practices are in place. Develop and communicate actionable plans, measurable objectives, and expected outcomes to drive successful execution.
  • Ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently through proactive management of employee performance, workflows, resources, and team priorities.
  • Partner with Patient Services Analytics leadership to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future business needs. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, onboarding, and supervising team members, as well as communicating and interpreting company policies and procedures.
  • Lead talent management activities, including establishing job objectives, determining work methods, setting performance standards, and evaluating performance against departmental goals. Conduct performance reviews and development discussions, and make recommendations regarding compensation adjustments, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, and other personnel matters in accordance with company policies.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development to support both employee growth and organizational success.

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Travel (10% or less)
  • Hours (40+ hours per week, 5 days of the week)

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or health policy or STEM or business 
  • Experience and/or Training:
    • 12+ years of overall experience focused on healthcare data, especially patient-level data.
    • Prior experience with the following responsibilities:  
      • Define standard metrics and KPIs for clients’ needs and establish robust processes to measure them  
      • Generate insights and present findings and deliverables to client that meets business requirements  
      • Provide high-end patient services analytics consulting and thought leadership to clients at the business heads level to help them implement or enhance their patient services models to realize the business objectives 
      • Recommend, design, and develop state-of-the-art data driven analysis using statistical and advanced analytics methodologies to solve business problems  
      • Possess strong customer analytics/ logical thinking skills and clarity of thought and proven ability to communicate clearly and present analytics findings to senior leadership/executives (Pharma VP/ED/D levels) 
      • Gain the trust as a “Thought Partner” with the clients as they lead existing and new client engagements independently; provide regular client updates, perform key stakeholder management and risk analysis for the engagement while tracking and monitoring for status of at-risk and success metrics 
      • Support the development of proposals and pitches for new business development; focus on opportunities to grow the client base along with the SVP Reporting & Analytics, while supporting the BD/Sales team as required for RFPs and regular sales pitches  
  • Technology/Equipment:
    • Hands-on must haves: SQL, Tableau, Power BI – all at expert level 
    • Databases: SFDC and internal systems for CRM, Pharmacy 
    • Project Management: JIRA, Smartsheet 
    • Presentation skills: MS PPT 
    • Hands-on Data Science (machine learning) and Python – modeling building programming experience 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or health policy or STEM or business 
    • 12-15 years of overall experience working with healthcare relevant Data Science / Analytics experience with a Bachelors / Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics/ Statistics or equivalent  
    • Industry-standard Subject Matter Expertise in Patient Services core areas such as program strategy, Affordability solutioning etc. Demonstrate innovative thinking and action on creating new solutions. 
    • Leverage communication to inspire others. Exhibit a commitment to being a team player with a flexible “can do” attitude and strong interpersonal skills  
    • Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities concerning global business fundamentals, evolving pharma business models and grasp of motivating multi-geography and multi-cultural teams 
  • Experience and/or Training:
    • Hands-on patient services data analytics expertise: 11+ years of prior experience working with internal and external clients, data providers and other 3rd parties to enhance and execute team priorities by leveraging data and analytics. Should be able to define, create and increase the consumption of Patient Services reporting artifacts incl. but not limited to portfolio-level power stats as well as help RCA operational issues with articulation of accurate and comprehensive set of KPIs 
    • Client-facing: Should be able to present and drive meaningful progress with compelling insights-driven storytelling to clients esp. on project coordination/management updates, leading product demos of reporting & analytics solutions  
    • Should be outcomes-driven : Proven expertise in translating business objectives into analytical questions and then working closely in co-ordination with various teams such as internal IT, Analytics & Data as well as client teams and 3rd party vendors across Data, IT and Business to generate analytics solutions
  • Licenses/Certificates:
    • Tableau Desktop certified associate or Power BI certification
    • AWS certifications
    • PMP or PgMP
