Job Description

THE POSITION:  

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3–4 years of handson experience in API testing, SQL validation, and test management tools. The ideal candidate should be comfortable writing test cases, maintaining traceability, and working with healthcare data. Knowledge of Salesforce and patient journey processes will be an added advantage. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by: 

 

  • Creating and executing test cases and maintaining traceability matrices. 

  • Performing API testing and validating data using SQL queries. 

  • Using tools like JIRA and ALM for test planning, execution, and defect tracking. 

  • Working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. 

  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and basic healthcare standards. 

  • Contributing to continuous improvements in QA processes. 

  • Maintaining clear documentation for testing processes and results. 

  • Supporting any additional QA activities as assigned. 

  • Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices. Develop documentation and provide user training as needed. 

  • All other duties as assigned. 

 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.  

 

  • 3–4 years of QA/SDET experience. 

  • Strong knowledge of API testing, SQL, and test management tools (JIRA, ALM). 

  • Ability to write clear test cases and maintain traceability. 

  • Basic understanding of the payer–provider–patient workflow and patient journey. 

  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance (preferred). 

  • Strong communication and documentation skills. 

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.  

  • Certifications such as:  

  • ISTQB Foundation / Intermediate Level 

  • Any QA or testing related certifications 

  • Experience with Salesforce testing or the healthcare domain is a plus. 

 

 

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engg., Technology, Computer Science; Master’s preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant industry experience (Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Consulting, Management Consulting, Market Research, Hospital systems, Payers, Enterprise level data-analytical solutions)
  • Any QA certifications.
