Job Description
THE POSITION
- As a key member of the Corporate Marketing & Communications team, the Marketing Automation Specialist serves as the primary administrator and technical owner of Salesforce CRM and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement). This role partners with marketing managers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to design, build, and optimize scalable marketing automation solutions that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- The role focuses on platform administration, campaign automation, and system integrations, ensuring marketing technologies are aligned with business goals and operate efficiently. The Marketing Automation Specialist translates business requirements into automated workflows, scalable nurture programs, and integrated marketing systems that support demand generation and revenue growth.
CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary administrator for Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and key Salesforce marketing functionalities.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable marketing automation programs, workflows, and lead lifecycle processes.
- Manage and optimize integrations between Salesforce, Pardot, and third-party platforms (web forms, webinar tools, chatbot, analytics platforms, advertising platforms, etc.).
- Support data migrations while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
- Work with Salesforce support to align automation with business goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer Pardot and Salesforce marketing environments, including user access, governance, configuration, and system hygiene.
- Design, build, and maintain complex automation programs including Engagement Studio journeys, automation rules, dynamic lists, completion actions, and custom redirects.
- Develop and maintain lead scoring and grading models aligned with sales and marketing objectives.
- Build and manage Salesforce Flows, process automation, and custom workflows to support marketing and lead management operations.
- Configure and manage third-party integrations with Salesforce/Pardot, ensuring data consistency and reliable synchronization.
- Oversee data migrations and system consolidation.
- Create and optimize email templates and landing pages ensuring mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and brand compliance.
- Oversee database health including segmentation, deduplication, list hygiene, and lifecycle management.
- Build dashboards and reports in Salesforce and Pardot to monitor funnel performance, attribution, and campaign effectiveness.
- Implement A/B testing strategies and automation enhancements to improve engagement and conversion performance.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).
- Salesforce CRM administration knowledge, including campaign management, lead lifecycle tracking, automation, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and overseeing Salesforce Flows and automation processes is considered an asset.
- Skilled in third-party integration and data migration management.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience using Salesforce/Pardot reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Technology, or related field.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization.
- Pardot Specialist certification preferred; Salesforce Admin certification is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

- Cross-functional experience with Marketing, Sales, and IT.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
- Experience managing complex lead routing and lifecycle automation frameworks.
- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a strong systems mindset.
