Job Description
THE POSITION:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect specializing in Health Cloud to design, govern, and deliver scalable enterprise-grade solutions. This role requires deep expertise in data modeling, integration architecture, security, multi-org strategy, and end-to-end Salesforce development. The Salesforce Architect will partner closely with business and technology teams to define architecture standards, ensure platform stability, and guide development best practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Architect and design Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, including Data Modeling, Schema Design, and patient-care workflows.
- Lead solutioning using Apex (Classes, Triggers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Flows.
- Define and implement Integration Architecture using APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Establish Security Model standards including authentication, authorization, sharing rules, encryption, and PHI/HIPAA considerations.
- Drive Multi‑Org and Environment Strategy, ensuring alignment, governance, and scalable org architecture.
- Lead DevOps & CI/CD implementation using tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Review technical designs, provide architectural guidance, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, admins, and cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.
- Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Document architecture decisions, solution blueprints, and system diagrams.
- All other duties as assigned.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- <5% Travel (% or number of days)
- Hours (45 Hours per week, 5 days of the week)
- Ability to work independently in a 2 PM – 11 PM shift, coordinating with global teams.
- Deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable Health Cloud architectures.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and leadership on Salesforce strategy.
- Mentor developers and admins, ensuring adherence to architectural and coding standards.
- Translate business needs into future-ready technical solutions.
- Own the architectural roadmap and maintain platform integrity.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI handling standards, and all internal security policies.
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, including clinical and patient data models.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Architecture, Data Modeling, and Schema Design.
- Advanced hands-on proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura, and Flow automation.
- Strong knowledge of Integration Architecture, REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven integrations, and platform events.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, Web protocols, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience defining Security Models including roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing and encryption.
- Proven experience with DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
Salesforce Certifications (highly preferred):
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Salesforce Certified System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Health Cloud Accredited Professional
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II
- Salesforce Integration Architect
- Salesforce Security & Identity Architect
- Experience in Healthcare or regulated industries with compliance standards (HIPAA, PHI, PII).
- Familiarity with tools like Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
