Job Description

THE POSITION:  

The Director, IT – MDM is a hands on leadership role within IT Data Management team driving the strategy and implementation of MDM for all of EVERSANA. You will be accountable and responsible for the master and reference data for all business entities across business units at Eversana.  You will use your experience to establish and maintain policies and procedures for how master data will be processed and managed both from a technical and data governance perspective.  You will collaborate with talented technical leaders across the business to build, automate, and maintain real time master data solutions as data products at enterprise level and drive adoption of those data products across different business lines.  You will be equally comfortable contributing to high level strategy for long-term Master Data Management efforts and achieving tactical operational excellence and performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers responsible for the development and deployment of enterprise data management capabilities and fostering innovation and continuous improvement
  • Lead and manage the MDM vision and strategy in line with the IT Enterprise Data strategy, priorities and goals.
  • Create a strong relationship with cross functional leaders and data stewards for successful implementation ensuring most effective and efficient outcome
  • Collaborate with other enterprise data leaders to build MDM and Data Governance strategy and roadmap that aligns with business and overall IT strategies
  • Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise level master data solutions in collaboration with product owners, solution architects, business stakeholders, and system integrators across the software development life cycle
  • Define and manage the Enterprise Architecture model, including data management and governance and implement best practices
  • Build a repository of consistent design documentations and artifacts
  • Ensure data security and privacy for PHI, PII and HIPAA compliance
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders in the consolidation and prioritization of requirements
  • Drive strategy and implementation across the enterprise to ensure compliance to policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Manage and organize team’s work on Jira providing visibility to MDM work progress to leadership and cross functional partners
  • Define, develop and maintain MDM standards, best practices, and procedures. Conduct periodic reviews of MDM to ensure compliance with the data governance standards and policies and remediate any risks proactively
  • Lead a data governance council to collaborate with key business constituents in the consolidation and prioritization of requirements.
  • Define Data governance policies, procedure and controls and create a method of monitoring those

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • BS in Computer Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field
  • 15+ years architecting solutions in Reltio MDM or similar enterprise data integration platform
  • Hands on experience on data engineering, master data management and building MDM solution
  • 10+ years Data platform and MDM  architecture experience
  • 5+ years of master data management and system designing leadership experience 
  • 5+ years of MDM and system integration experience on Salesforce data, Microsoft D365 , Snowflake and other similar data sources
  • Experiencing with Data Engineering, Data Modelling and building Data Products
  • Hands on Reltio, Jira, Snowflake ,  API integrations and Data Governance tools experience
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging modern technology to deliver master data solutions
  • Experience in working in a highly regulated industry like healthcare of life science
  • Strong working experience of agile and waterfall project delivery methods
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with teams.
  • Self-starter that works well and can be a leader in a matrixed team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field
  • Health care (provider, pharmaceutical, and/or health plan) experience strongly preferred
  • Cloud solutions experience

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 165,000 to $190,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
