Job Description
THE POSITION:
The Director, IT – Enterprise Data Architecture will be a hands on leader responsible for defining and evolving the enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmap for enterprise Modern Data Platform at Eversana. You will bring your experience in blending legacy data systems with modern data architecture to build a robust and scalable enterprise data platform to support operational and analytical needs, build modular, scalable data products and data contracts to improve data quality. You will bring extensive data engineering and data architecture experience to the team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and mentor a team of architects and implement data architecture best practices and fostering innovation and continuous improvement
- Define and manage the Enterprise data architecture model, including product operating model and maturing IT operating model
- Develop the Modern Data Platform strategy, architecture and roadmap that aligns with IT and Business strategy
- Design and implement highly scalable, secure, and performant data architectures and data pipelines leveraging cloud technologies and modern data frameworks.
- Design data products, data contracts and data monitoring solutions at the enterprise level
- Partner with the enterprise data leadership team to develop and implement the Enterprise Data Strategy and roadmap
- Define, document and execute processes required to ensure compliance with data policies, standards, procedures and patterns.
- Ensure consistent design documentations and artifacts for tracking
- Work with cross functional stakeholders and external customers to translate business objectives into technical solutions, with supporting implementation artifacts, and work with data Delivery team on a flawless implementation
- Stay abreast on emerging technologies and provide recommendations to advance our portfolio of data-driven capabilities, optimize for cost efficiency, and improve automation
- Create a workflow for Data Ops and support framework on the entire data flow management proceed
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- BS in Computer Science in Data Engineering
- 15+ years enterprise data architecture/engineering experience including at least 5 years of modern data architecture
- Deep understanding and hands on experience of data modelling, modern data architecture and data governance principles
- 10+ years of data engineering and system designing leadership experience
- 10+ years of architecting data solutions on Snowflake/DBT/ETL, Airflow or any other workflow management tools and system integration on AWS platform
- Hands on experience in implementing RBAC system
- Experience working with Salesforce data integration to enterprise DWH
- Experience defining patterns and solutions leveraging Data as a Product, Data as a Service, Data Mesh, Data Virtualization, Delta Lake, Lakehouse and/or Data Fabric
- Experiencing designing APIs, Databases, Various Integration, Various Business Applications
- Broad experience in various types of business applications (i.e. health care, finance, order management)
- Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project delivery methods and expert in Jira/Smartsheet
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with teams.
- Self-starter that works well and can be a leader in a matrixed team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field
- Health care (provider, pharmaceutical, and/or health plan) experience strongly preferred
- Enterprise AI/ML data modelling experience

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 165,000 to $190,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
