Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a member of the Health Innovation Team
  • Contribute to the vision, mission and work of a multidisciplinary team responsible for heath innovation programs, including digital medicines and digital therapeutics, adopting a focus on integrated strategies for ideation, development, commercialization and adoption
  • Monitor, analyze and summarize the latest relevant policy evolutions internationally and with a specific focus on EU-5 countries, maintaining an updated knowledge of healthcare policy, economic and HTA environment
  • Monitor, analyze and summarize relevant scientific literature maintaining an updated knowledge basis
  • Monitor, analyze and summarize the regulatory and policy processes applied to evaluate and reimburse pharmaceutical products and medical devices
  • Research, analyze, summarize and understand epidemiological, health economic and burden of disease data to inform strategies
  • Research and map key multi-stakeholders and identify key opinion leaders to engage in strategic projects
  • Support in the engagement with clients and key opinion leaders across the healthcare ecosystem
  • Support in the planning of strategic high-level events and meetings
  • Elaborate PowerPoint presentations, data analysis and draft narrative/scientific papers

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Understanding of the healthcare industry and EU-5 healthcare systems
  • Passionate of digital health innovations and with basic knowledge of the digital health field
  • Interested and basic level of knowledge relative to the evolving health policies in the EU and Member States
  • Interested and basic level of knowledge of the subject of public health, health economics and of the life sciences industry
  • Good ability to stay up to date with the evolving literature, documents and polices; read, analyze, synthesize them and draft PowerPoint presentations and narrative/scientific papers
  • Good research skills and ability to analyze findings to make appropriate use
  • Be able to analyze quantitative and qualitative information, extrapolating key aspects and insights
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably, also in Italian
  • Strong orientation to teamwork
  • Be interested in the health sector and in the analysis and understanding of its multi-faceted components and diversified stakeholders
  • Draft powerpoint presentations effectively
  • Use Microsoft Excel effectively to draft simple descriptive analysis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree ideally in Health economics, health management, social sciences or management engineering is preferred
  • Know-how of the EU digital health policies Italian health system is preferred
  • Know-how in health economics and pricing and reimbursement models for medical devices and drugs is preferred.
