Job Description

*This is a remote field-based position. Candidates from alternative southeastern cities are encouraged to apply. 

The Regional Account Director (RAD) is a trusted account professional and team member responsible for the adoption of a drug-device combination product in the Heart Failure space, within IDN’s across the country. The opportunity is suited for entrepreneurial sales professionals that enjoy building and executing creative strategies in organized systems of care. The RAD delivers high impact program management to secure product access as well as effective information gathering, product messaging, and implementation education to key HCPs, Pharmacy, C-Suite, and system influencers.  Our commercialization strategy is full IDN adoption through workflow implementation- not a traditional physician by physician sale. As Health System Experts, the RAD’s leverage their institutional relationships, presentation and communication expertise, and creative solutions to execute uptake of our unique product solution through developing workflows aimed at reducing admissions, readmissions, and length of stay by routing a portion of these, otherwise admitted, heart failure patients to home. The RAD’s role is field-based, and most of the time is spent in the field calling on Heart Failure Cardiologists, clinical Leadership, pharmacy leadership, and IDN leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

  • Generate leads for novel workflows to improve Heart Failure care in the health system
  • Identify and engage hospitals and health systems with dedicated Heart Failure programs
  • Lead multi-disciplinary projects with targeted accounts to secure Health System P&T approval and operational implementation
  • Deliver approved messages compliantly to key decision makers in HF centers of excellence, IDN, Academic Centers, and other targeted institutions.
  • Present in-depth HF treatment differentiation to support understanding of the advantages of our product through in-person or virtual, 1:1 and group interactions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with System Influencers, Clinical and System Pharmacy, Protocol and EMR influencers, HCP thought leaders, and other Cardiovascular HCP stakeholders
  • Creating access and adoption across Heart Failure decision makers for multidisciplinary HCPs within targeted health systems
  • Understand and continuously assess the healthcare landscape
  • Utilize analytics and targeting tools to optimize uptake and launch success.
  • Effective and efficient internal partner coordination to support launch objectives and inform strategy
  • Collect and share field intelligence and key account feedback and experiences with internal partners to support launch success and product strategy
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Travel Up to 50 % of the time.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience Cardiovascular, EMR, and CHF experience in IDN, hospital or clinic setting, 5 years minimum. IDN selling experience and relationships within the bio/pharmaceutical and Cardiovascular specialty preferred, with proven performance and success.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills ability translate and communicate technical/scientific concepts to key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills. Familiar with PHRMA & Sunshine Act Reporting requirements. Candidates must possess the ability to operate in compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Licenses/Certificate – Valid driver’s license
  • Technology/Equipment Microsoft Suite of programs proficient

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education Advanced Degree
  • Experience and/or Training Quality improvement and care management pathway outcomes across large health systems, physician groups and/or payers
  • Launch experience with a drug/device combination and/or medical device
  • Deep relationships within Cardiovascular Disease Systems of Care, Heart Failure preferred
  • Possess expertise within the Systems of Care, IDN, CHF clinic landscape
  • Direct experience with targeted customers
