Job Description
THE POSITION:
As a Cloud Data Architect, this role will be instrumental in enhancing and supporting our Enterprise Cloud Data Warehouse currently on Snowflake. Responsible for designing and delivering data models, data integrations and ETL data pipelines, supporting client project deliverables and ensuring meticulous documentation of solutions provided. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, and proficiency in ETL processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and implement end-to-end data integration solutions with Enterprise Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Data replication from variety of internal and external data sources into Snowflake Data Warehouse Raw layer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data models.
2. Experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse Platform is required:
- Experience using Snowflake capabilities such as Snowpipes, Tasks, Streams, Stored Procedures, Data Replication.
- Implement best practices for data auditing & data quality.
- Implement Industry best practices for User Access and Data Security.
- Experience with Secure Data Sharing
- Experience implementing best practices for virtual warehouse management
3. Design and implement ETL processes:
- Experience using DBT ETL is required.
- Experience using Qlik Replicate and Qlik Compose ETL is preferred.
- Experience using CICD pipelines and code repositories such as Bitbucket is preferred.
- Develop and implement efficient ETL processes to support data integration from different engagement platforms.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
- Experience with AWS Services (S3, Event Bridge, Cloudwatch, etc.) is required.
4. Support client project deliverables:
- Able to lead the implementation and integration of data solutions for clients.
- Provide technical guidance and support during client onboarding processes.
- Conduct data mapping exercises to align business requirements with data architecture.
5. Demonstrate proficiency in SQL; Python scripting skills are a valuable addition:
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Python skills for automation and scripting are desirable.
6. Knowledge of Life Sciences or Healthcare business processes is advantageous
- Familiarity with Patient Services and Specialty Pharmacy systems and business processes is a plus.
7. Exhibit strong documentation abilities:
- Familiarity with SDLC processes and documentation.
- Experience using work management and documentation platforms such as Jira, Confluence is a plus.
- Document requirements and conduct peer reviews.
- Ensure documentation is accessible and understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
Travel – Under 5%
Hours – 40+, typically Monday - Friday

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- At least 5+ years with Data Warehouse architecture design and solutioning.
- At least 3+ years of experience working with Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
- At least 2+ projects operating in Lead Data Architect role.
- Experience using and developing with ETL tools, preferably DBT and Qlik Replicate and Compose.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to design, execute and communicate solutions to different stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS and Python scripting.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $164,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
