Job Description
THE POSITION:
This position functions in a dynamic and somewhat stressful environment due to the variability of work volume on a given day and the need to ensure that the contractual obligations from EVERSANA to our clients are fulfilled. The MH4 is expected to meet volume and accuracy expectations for controlled drug order receipt and fulfillment as it pertains to the correct NDC, lot and quantity for each item on the order. The MH4 is also expected to fully follow all applicable standard operating procedures, and to over-pack each order per the pertinent standard operating procedure. The MH4 is also responsible for following all quality control and inventory control SOPs related to quarantine release, cycle counting, physical inventory and other controlled substance-related functions as assigned. The MH4 must satisfactorily complete all EVERSANA, DEA and FDA screening and background checks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions are receiving, put away, pick, pack, ship, quality control and inventory control to include safe and productive forklift operation.
- Functions - This position is responsible and accountable for the productive processing of all controlled drug related tasks. This includes receiving, picking, packing, manifesting and loading shipments, along with supporting functions of quality control and inventory control.
- Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures- This position will be required to adhere to all formal standard operating procedures that control all controlled drug processes.
- Problem Solving- This position will be responsible for participation in problem solving, if errors or issues occur through daily processes. The MH4 is expected to work with Management to resolve problems promptly and to avoid any reoccurrence of the issues involved.
Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Education and/or Experience- High School Diploma and preferably prior fulfillment experience in a distribution environment.
- Language Skills- Good language skills are required.
- Mathematical Skills- Basic math skills are required, but a calculator may be used.
- Reasoning Ability- Good reasoning skills are helpful to the position.
- Physical Demands- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Lift certified- Must be able to operate forklift equipment.
- Other Qualifications
- Good attendance and ability to follow instructions without deviation are also required.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a EVERSANA DC with at least a working knowledge of all DC tasks is required.
- Above average accuracy and output are necessary.
- Any final disciplinary warnings issued in the previous twelve months will disqualify a candidate for this position.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Environmental demands include walking or standing at a minimum of 80% of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasking in a busy environment. Bending, squatting, pivoting and stooping may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
