Job Description

What Does a Sr. Marketing Operations Program Manager Do? 
 

The Sr. Marketing Operations Program Manager is a Consultant to the Client, coordinating directly amongst the 3rd Party Agencies and Internal Affiliate Partners whom are also providing services to the Client throughout the engagement.  This role is instrumental in acting as a “Quarterback” for the Client to manage the Partner ecosystem, understanding the complexities and dependencies of all work in progress and relaying those to the Client in terms of impacts to projects, schedule, and budget.  This close and detailed work with the Client provides an avenue for key stakeholders to make real-time adjustments and informed decisions in order to meet delivery expectations.  The Sr. Marketing Operations Program Manager also works at an enterprise level with clients to establish best practices and standards for partners in the partner ecosystem and is accountable to ensuring compliance to those.  This role is also accountable for developing a Master Program Plan and a Master Program Budget, incorporating, and assimilating all the details and elements of the individual project plans and budgets.  The Sr. Marketing Operations Program Manager will use both the Master Program Plan and the Master Program Budget to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective execution of all workstreams.    

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Runs the ceremonies required to execute the iterative work such as Daily Stand up, Sprint Mapping, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Retrospectives. 

  • Manage all ADO cards throughout the duration of the sprint, after the PMO has built the initial Epics  

  • Conflict resolution, including scope, schedule, resource, budget, quality, and communication   

  • Agile ceremony leadership with the development teams and relevant stakeholders 

  • Proactively identify and flag resourcing concerns and work with Department Leads, Client Services, and PMs to ensure the accuracy of updates to staffing plans  

  • Help the development team to achieve customer satisfaction and self-organizaiton

  • Partner with Client Services, PMs, and Marketing Operations Lead to develop timelines and execution plans for coming Sprints 

Qualifications

What Are We Looking For? 

  • 5-7 years prior marketing operations or program management experience is required
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 
  • Previous healthcare Marketing Agency industry experience
  • Experience in leading teams executing email marketing campaigns 
  • Experience with Managed Services & Marketing Optimization platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) 
  • Experience leading a multitude of complex technology-based programs 
  • Proven ability to successfully manage highly complex/multi-faceted programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior management of at least one (1) direct report
  • Prior experience working in a scrum team as a resource
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to solve problems and gaps in the scrum
  • Experience and knowledge with successful Agile techniques
  • Compiling sprint/iteration resourcing and quarterly/annual Staffing/Resource plans
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Advanced ability to navigate and drive for clarifications of undefined and/or ambiguous requests to develop actionable work tasks
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOps or JIRA
  • Team building skills including training, mentorship, and team growth

Preferred Skills

  • Program Manager certification
  • 3+ years Program Manager experience within an Agency environment preferred

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $101,000 to $173,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
