Job Description
As a Per Diem, On Demand Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for providing educational support and training to Health Care Professionals and support staff in allergy offices. You will work closely the HCP’s and support staff to enhance their knowledge and skills. This role requires expertise in nursing practice, along with strong presentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a point of contact to Health Care Professionals and support staff in allergy offices
- Maintain clinical, scientific, research knowledge, insight, and expertise relevant to the disease state.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of relevant clinical protocols and related procedures
- Cultivate awareness through proactive and reactive educational engagement, as appropriate, in their specified territory.
- Refer unsolicited requests for information on clinical programs to Medical Affairs/Clinical Development
- Personify a high standard for compliant field behavior and internal/external engagement for peers and cross-functional partners to emulate.
- Consistently demonstrate a high standard of excellence in the management of assigned territory
- Provide oversight and clinical monitoring associated with initial dose of SL allergy therapy in medical facilities
Qualifications
Hiring Criteria/Requirements:
- Valid nursing license and relevant clinical experience
- Active Individual Nursing malpractice insurance policy
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Allergy experience strongly preferred. Pediatric experience required
- CPR and AED certification required
- Strong clinical, scientific, and business acumen
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and collaborate with office staff and other healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint, One Drive, Windows OS, can Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; and willing to learn new applications
- Previous Pharma Experience a plus
