Job Description

WHAT DOES A PROJECT MANAGER DO?

The Project Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in leading the internal day-to-day operations and delivery for a set of low-to-medium complexity tactical projects, from inception to completion, within a brand or multiple brands. Project Managers ensure their projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet the quality and process standards established by EVERSANA INTOUCH.

What is the role generally responsible for?

  • Autonomously leading and managing tactical projects from inception to completion
  • Ensuring OIPF adherence with internal partners
  • Developing, actively managing and analyzing project plans including communication, timelines, estimates, risk registers, change logs and burn reports
  • Understanding, identifying and proactively managing scope, timeline, budget and risk within a project to minimize or eliminate scope creep
  • Managing and leading communications across project stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment
  • Leading internal team through the tailoring and project initiation process, status meetings and internal reviews
  • Coordinating and leading communication for executional efforts with third-party vendors, including partner agencies
  • Providing estimation and forecasting inputs to the financial tracker
  • Assisting Senior Project Managers and Associate Directors in the monthly billing process
  • Interpreting and distributing project burn analysis
  • Actively mentoring and training project coordinators, from onboarding to overseeing daily tasks
  • Ensuring project requirements documentation is developed and exists on the enterprise file system
  • Apprising project stakeholders of detailed project information: burn against plan hours and funding limit, health, risks and mitigation plans

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
  • One to three years of professional experience in a Project Management Office role
  • A proactive, solution-driven and nimble self-starter with excellent organization skills
  • High performance in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Understanding of foundational PMO skills and standards and comfort leading teams through a project’s lifecycle
  • Experience leading meetings, creating project timelines and estimates to match a scope of work and/or project brief
  • Basic understanding of scope and change management
  • Experience tracking and reporting financial health metrics
  • Familiarity with project burn analysis, communication, action and mitigation
  • Understanding how to identify and escalate project risk
  • Experience building project estimates
  • Basic understanding of Project Management Information Systems such as Workfront, Workfront Proof, Smartsheet, MS Project and the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to build trusting relationships

  • Basic negotiation skills
