    Job Description

We're looking for someone to help build out an Asset Needs Management (ANM) product, the system that decides how maintenance, replacement, and risk-related needs get identified, assessed, and prioritized on critical infrastructure.

You'd work closely with a Product Owner, Asset Managers, data people, and IT, part product thinking, part hands-on technical digging. There's real room to take ownership here: you'd own specific topics end-to-end, and over time become someone who can step in for the Product Owner when needed.

    What You'll Do:

    • Help shape and deliver the ANM roadmap alongside the Product Owner
    • Own specific topics fully, from framing the problem to getting it implemented
    • Examine maintenance, replacement, and risk-mitigation processes and identify improvements
    • Write, test, and validate the logic and rules behind how asset needs get generated
    • Use Python to analyze datasets, test hypotheses, investigate anomalies, and challenge assumptions
    • Identify data-quality issues, assess their business impact, and push for fixes
    • Run workshops with Asset Managers and others, bringing structure to complex discussions
    • Be the go-between for Asset Management, Product, Data, and IT
    • Put together recommendations, documentation, and materials people can act on
    • Help with backlog refinement, prioritization, testing, and releases
    • Monitor how the product is actually performing and speak up when something should change
    • Cover for the Product Owner when needed, alignment calls, backlog calls, ceremonies

    Qualifications

    • Experience in product delivery, digital transformation, process improvement, or data-driven decision-making
    • Background working across business, tech, and data, ideally in an industrial, infrastructure, or utility setting
    • Solid, hands-on Python, you use code to answer business questions, not just run scripts
    • You can take something vague and turn it into clear options and next steps
    • You can explain complicated things simply, and get senior people on board without needing authority over them
    • Autonomous, pragmatic, curious, you don't need much hand-holding
    • Comfortable going deep into a topic when it calls for it, but can also zoom out
    • Good at running workshops and managing stakeholders
    • Comfortable being part of backlog and roadmap decisions, not just executing them
    • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Data, or a related field
    • Bonus: experience in Asset Management, maintenance or reliability engineering, EAM systems, or similar
    • Bonus: Power BI or other data platform experience
    • English required professionally; Dutch and/or French is a plus

    Additional Information

You'll have the chance to work at the heart of the energy transition, on technology that's actually shaping how the sector moves forward, with a genuine focus on well-being and a diverse, passionate team that likes sharing knowledge and pushing things forward together.
