Job Description

As a Windows Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, ensuring the availability, and optimizing Windows Server environments and associated services. You will handle Level 2 technical issues.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Windows Systems Administration: Install, configure, and administer Windows servers (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022), manage Windows services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • In-depth Diagnostics: Identify root causes of problems and propose sustainable solutions.
  • Documentation: Document interventions and enrich the knowledge base.
  • Security Policies: Implement security policies (patch management, antivirus, log monitoring).
  • User Rights Management: Manage user rights and permissions according to access policies.
  • Technology Integration: Participate in the migration and integration of new technologies.
  • Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using scripts (PowerShell, Batch).
  • Monitoring Tools: Configure and use monitoring tools like Centreon or Grafana.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Keep architecture, operation, configuration, and procedure documentation up to date.

Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Good command of French and English – B2/C1 level.
  • Windows Server Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows Server systems (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Service Knowledge: Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy services.
  • Virtualization Experience: Experience with virtualization tools (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Scripting Skills: Proficient in scripting, especially with PowerShell.
  • Backup and Monitoring: Knowledge of backup systems (Veeam, Windows Backup) and monitoring solutions (Centreon, etc.).
  • Networking and Security: Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing) and security (firewalls, SIEM is a plus).
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Priority Management: Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
