The Senior AV Integration Technician lies at the heart of AV Operations, with a deep-rooted understanding of AV integration technology, coupled with extensive hands-on experience as both an installer and technician. As a pivotal member of our team, you will not only undertake complex builds but also serve as a beacon of guidance and expertise, drawing upon your rich background to elevate project execution and client satisfaction to unparalleled heights. This role requires on-site presence at our Fredericton, New Brunswick office.

ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Undertaking larger complex builds in accordance with project requirements, leveraging hands-on experience gained as an installer and technician.
• Mentoring and guiding installers and technicians, drawing upon prior roles to provide practical advice and support for effective project execution.
• Providing remote support and troubleshooting expertise as required, utilizing skills honed as a technician to address technical challenges efficiently.
• Offering feedback to the design team regarding equipment selections, utilizing insights gained from previous roles to optimize system performance and client satisfaction.
• Verifying the quality of work performed by internal resources and contractors, applying meticulous attention to detail developed through experience as an installer and technician.
• Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for installations, leveraging comprehensive knowledge and insight gained through hands-on experience in various projects.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others effectively, because you have been an installer and AV Technician yourself and know what it takes. 
• comprehensive understanding and experience in installation procedures and techniques, developed through roles as an installer and technician.
• Proficiency in remote support and troubleshooting methodologies
• You interact with clients and project teams regularly and have strong communication skills to provide feedback and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Dedication to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new technologies, manufacturer training, and certifications relevant to the role.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities while maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Ability to obtain required security clearances and confidentiality agreements.
• Physical capability to lift (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Ability to work at height and regularly climb and work on ladders.
• Knowledgeable in the use and back-end management of AV technology, including Crestron DM/NVX, Biamp Tesira, Cisco codecs / video conferencing systems, wired and wireless microphones.

• Annual salary range: 75-85k CAD per year.
