Job Summary:

Title: Deployment Manager

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

· The main responsibility of the Deployment Manager is to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of software developed within a program for deployment into the production environment.

· Design and implement a project level Command Center model to support the post deployment process. This includes, but is not limited to, Command Center organization structure, integration with current help desk and OneStop processes, managing the distribution of daily reports to Sr. Leadership and preparation of Leadership presentations.

· Ensure that the organization's release controls are documented and well understood by development Teams and Program Support Teams.

· Ensure that a detailed deployment plan has been documented along with a back out plan should anything go wrong during deployment

· Drive creation of a tactical plan to implement technology; partnering with key stakeholders for validation.

· Identify key risks to success and help to mitigate those risks or related issues.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.

· 7-10 years of IT and business experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms.

· Previous technical management experience in a dynamic high-technology environment.

· Excellent understanding of product release methodologies (including familiarity with ITIL's Release and Deployment Management process).

· Strong system integration experience.

· Strong experience planning the development and delivery of complex software products.

· Good understanding of product architecture and infrastructure components.

· Experience leading several successful implementations.

Preferred:

· Previous experience as a Deployment or CM Manager

· 5 years+ experience in health care provider/payer organizations

· Expert in MS products especially MS Visio, SharePoint and MS Project. Note: We may ask the candidate to provide examples of Visio Process flows they have completed.

· Ideal candidate will have previous experience managing applications

· Excellent communication and presentation skills required

· Ability to adapt to dynamic environment and reprioritize work efforts

· Ability to motivate and sustain high team spirit and energy

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to provide options to resolve an issue before presenting to management

· Very detailed oriented and a self-starter.

· Healthcare experience required.
