Job Description

To be responsible for data entry, purchasing and logistics of products being exported internationally in the best conditions.  Whether it’s cost, margin, quality, and delivery conditions with suppliers and customers to satisfy order requirements.


Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Order entry into our Business Central System, order placement with suppliers and sending confirmation with customers.   Evaluate the ability of suppliers to provide products and services that meet the technical requirements and according to internal processes. Also be involved with Quality control and logistics of shipments domestic and international.

2. Have a basic background in English (reading and writing emails, understand drawings and analysis of specifications...).

3. Participate in the analysis of both internal and external requirements.  Analyse customers’ requirements and launch them to the appropriate supplier.  Audit and approve suppliers.

4. Negotiate and monitor projects/operations, domestically and internationally.

5. Prepare and apply the different purchasing, sales and logistic processes in their globality in collaboration with the different departments.

6. Determine the safety of chemicals being purchased and its logistics.

7. Determine whether material(s) require an export license and make applications accordingly with the appropriate governmental agency.

8. Follow-up on suppliers, identify and manage risks. Implement appropriate action plans to
reduce the impact, exposure and resolve disputes.  Following up on purchase orders and tracking shipments to their final destination.

9. Monitor profitability of all operations (margin, expenses...).

10. Ensure billing of all operations.

11. Ensure customer overall satisfaction.

12. French is a plus

Additional Information

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
