Job Description

To strengthen its BL Software team and accelerate its development, Energy Pool is recruiting a global software sales engineer (F/H) on a permanent contract.


In a ‘hunting’ oriented position, you will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation, and contribute to Energy Pool's sales development.


As such, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:

  •     Canvassing the various customer targets identified, developing new relationships with direct prospects and developing your ecosystem of partners and business introducers,
  •     Making appointments and identifying relevant opportunities,
  •     Preparing and updating sales materials in French and English or in any other language in which you are proficient,
  •     Qualifying and prioritising business opportunities,
  •     Drawing up commercial and technical offers, with the support of the teams, while identifying the legal obligations applicable to these deals,
  •     Coordinating and leading the pre-sales team, in compliance with the company's internal processes, and ensuring that we meet our commitments to the customer (deadlines, compliance, quality of the sales proposal submitted),
  •     Leading contract negotiations, including commercial and technical aspects,
  •     Setting up industrial and/or commercial partnerships and developing independent sales channels.
  • Reporting on your activities using the company's CRM tool

 

In the follow-up phase of contracted projects, you will be responsible for :

  •     Customer relationship management and commercial and contractual monitoring throughout the life of the contract,
  •     Monitoring the administrative and financial aspects of the contract, including invoicing, as well as the mutual commitments of Energy Pool and the customer,
  •     Consolidating the monthly progress of the project with the project manager and deciding on priorities,
  •     Building customer loyalty and generating additional sales of our software solutions, and even of other company products and services, on existing projects on the one hand, and via the identification of new projects carried out by your customers on the other.

 

Qualifications

Prerequisites:

  •     You will have at least 5 to 9 years' successful experience in selling complex solutions in a B2B environment, ideally in the Energy or Software sectors,
  •     You are a hunter capable of managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing your contracts,
  •     You know how to develop a sales strategy and turn it into results,
  •     As an expert in Value Selling, you understand your customers' explicit and implicit challenges and design a customised solution that demonstrates its value and benefits. You defend your vision and win the support of your contacts,
  •     You work in a fast-changing technological environment, and develop your internal network to surround yourself with the right skills for each project,
  •     You know how to coordinate responses to calls for tender in consortium with existing or ad hoc partners for a specific project,
  •     You work in an international context and your English is fluent.

You also have good interpersonal skills and strong organisational and coordination skills in a collaborative, international environment. You will be able to work independently while respecting the company's commercial processes, and you will be rigorous, pugnacious, creative and take the initiative.
